Overview
This course suits only those players who have reached an Elo level of 1000 . The aim is to become a rated player in 6 months with approximately 90 hours theoretical sessions and 90 hours practical play. There will be 45 theoretical sessions and 30 practical sessions
Requirements
- Must have played in local or school level tournament with at least 50 % score
- Must have completed intermediate level
- Chess.com or Lichess rating of 1400+

The syllabus aims to elevate playing strength from 1000-1400 ELO to 1600-1800 ELO. The focus is on advanced skill development, deeper understanding of chess strategies, and preparation for FIDE-rated events. The strong focus is on elevating students’ chess skills to the next level. The blend of strategic, tactical, and psychological training ensures that students develop a well-rounded approach to the game, setting them on the path to becoming strong, competitive FIDE-rated players.
